Destination Ontario
Канада
Добавлен 7 окт 2011
This is Ontario.
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then an epic novel is waiting to be captured around every corner.
This is a place filled with reasons to stop, take notice and move forward.
This is a land of beguiling natural wonders, of countless lakes and rivers, ready to thrill the thrill seeker and chill the zen seeker.
This is a thriving food and drink destination - home to award-winning wineries and craft breweries, of celebrated chefs and insta-perfect plates.
This is a collection of vibrant cities and charming towns, of festivals worth travelling for, of inspired arts scenes in all the places you’d expect and some you might not.
This is an invitation to be amongst friends, to celebrate our diversity, to be yourself, and smile.
This is Ontario. Welcome.

Great fall colours :)
I only wish that the people who had told me about Grey Owl had been honest with me and told me who he really was. They knew who he was, but what I was left with was a lie by omission, which I didn't appreciate after I found out on my own who Grey Owl was. They wanted me to give up beaver trapping. I'm glad that I didn't because the live capture beaver traps that I invented are now being using to catch beaver and restock beaver up into the high country in Wyoming and Utah where the mountain men trapped them out in 1840.
🍁 Ours to Enjoy! 🍁
This should be titled "Discover Kingston if you're a scared white person." Let's see: An arts center, a stage in a university, a restaurant, another restaurant, a brew-pub/restaurant, a restaurant with pizza, and a touristy farmers market. Literally, every city has those. The only unique thing they showed was the historic tunnel/courtyard. The cruises are nice, but the ones from Gananoque actually show the 1000 islands. They could have shown Ft. Henry, the drawbridge on the way to it. Instead of the kinda boring boat tour, there is a place that rents sailing dinghies, which is very hard to find. Kings Lock just north of the city is a great spot, with a historic power station, picnic spots, rock climbing, locks/canal, and fishing/camping. Lemoine point is nice, but not that unique. There are also great events like the poker run and Queen's University's homecoming.
Omg, what a enchanting scenery! Colors are spectacular my friend! 👏👏

Wow beautiful❤❤❤
Well done! Most people today have no idea what a great conservationist he was. As first nations people have ALWAYS been. The world needs to wake up!
Grey Owl and Ray Mears. I cannot think of a better combination.

I did a short virtual tour featuring this video. A friend of mine was on the July 7th flight. Hope you like it.

Awesome video! I’m going to hike out to Grey Owl’s cabin in northern Sask this summer! Can’t wait!
I was there, I saw them fly together with the Vulcan, it was magnificent. And i've saved up since before COVID to fly on her THIS YEAR, the flights go on sale tomorrow. So excited! I'm so glad she got to the UK and back again safely.
Hi there , I thought that Grey Owl was a Scotsman and not an Englishman. Does anybody know? Cheers.
English
Last night I received the highest honor a man could ever know. After being a reject from society by both white people and the cherokee who I used to call my people. I was adopted by an ojibwe elder who will one day be chief. And I owe it partly to grey owl and his message that was dismissed and then conveniently forgotten. I remember. And to these people that is a great honor and now I have a place that I belong! The feeling of being accepted by this great people Is an honor that words can't even begin to describe. I feel truly blessed and I'm seeing the world in a new light today!
So, cámaras, phones and talking loud are not allowed. Silence is apreciate it

why is this not taught at elementary schools in ontario????
Thank you.
A Zimbabwean stone sculpture In Peterborough...WTF. The tax payers obviously sported the funds for that dog turd. Cycling is one thing, yet when you team it up with the driveling radical leftist agenda that is pathetically ensconced in the Peterborough area, you lose those of us who are looking to your videos for open and free information about a genuinely beautiful part of central Ontario. Nobody gives a shyte about that garbage. The rest of your video is worthwhile.
Are these all available under current Covid restrictions?
you'll have to come axe throwing at wackie wings at Northern Axperts
